Biography

When the Fifth Supply Battalion made its daring push to retake the town, the Soviet commander decided to flee, stealing a civilian car. He was killed by Lt. Parker's forces before he could escape. His death resulted in disarray among the Soviet forces, making for an swifter U.S. liberation of the town.
